RENTER BE AWARE!!! We recently rented this property on the week starting August 27, 2011....Hurricane Irene week. We live on the west coast and made every effort to make it in but our flights were cancelled and the trains were not running to New Jersey. Even if we made it in, we could not make it to LBI because the island was evacuated. When we called the land owner she said it was not her fault we could not make it in. We asked for a partial reimbursement or even another week....she hung up on us several times and she called us nuts. Now she has $3800 of our money and we have a ruined vacation!
