Doors and windows not secure enough to keep any valueable items in the home when you are not present. They do not lock, if you are concerned about safety thus would not be a home to rent. The sheets had not been cleaned before we arrived. Very poor condidition. We asked for some linens from the property manager but were never given any. There was NO hot water in kitchen. so we had to boil water to wash dishes. The location was nice , directly on the beach front. About 10 miles away from Progreso. Found driving to be easy in Yucatan. We visited Merida 2/3 times at least. As a group we are very low maintenance travelers and this was below what we expected. For a rate of over $200 per day I would look elsewhere. We have stayed in Belize and Guatamala and I have never written a poor review. They need to do get proper provisions for good renters. This home is better suited for frat parties and large groups of partying college students.
